Dr. McRay
Dr. McRay was born in Clarksville, AR, and was raised in Houston, TX. Dr. McRay attended the University of Texas in Austin and received is Doctor of Dental Surgery from UTHSCSA Dental School in San Antonio, TX. While at UTHSCSA, he received multiple awards for clinical excellence in General Dentistry and graduated Magna Cum Laude. It was here that he began developing the skills and the desire to provide only the finest and most comprehensive dental care to his patients. This led him to want to be trained by some of the very best dental professionals in the nation. After attending dental school, he was trained at one of the most prestigious and comprehensive general dentistry residencies in the nation at the Audie L Murphy VA Hospital in San Antonio. It is here where Dr. McRay was trained by specialists in Full Mouth Rehabilitation, Implant Placement and Restoration, Cosmetic Dentistry, Root Canal Therapy, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, IV and Oral Conscious Sedation, Invisalign, and Periodontal Surgery.
Dr. McRay is devoted to the overall oral health of his patients and establishing lasting relationships. He enjoys working with his patients to meet their long term esthetic and overall oral health needs in a friendly and relaxing environment.
While Dr. McRay has a passion for Dentistry, away from the office he maintains a health and active lifestyle including snowboarding, wakeboarding, running, hiking, and mountain biking. He loves spending time with friends, family and his black lab, and always enjoys a good laugh

Dr. Nelson
Dr. Nelson was born in Mobile, Alabama. He received his higher education in California, graduating from San Jose State University in Psychology, then from U.C.S.F. School of Dentistry. He has attended numerous postgraduate programs in cosmetic, prosthetic, advanced technology dentistry, temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ problems), and has lectured nationally to dentists on the topic of computer applications in dentistry. He is a member of the following organizations:

The cornerstone of Dr. Nelson's practice is his style of delivering relaxed, personalized, gentle, care… with a constant commitment to the patient's life-long well being. He encourages them to keep their long-term goal in mind of achieving their utmost in cosmetic, functional, periodontally healthy, long-lasting restorations. Toward that end, a large portion of Dr. Nelson's practice is focused on smile makeovers. Utilizing cutting edge esthetic technologies, he and his team are able to recreate youthful and idealized smiles. These treatment techniques offer predictable, beautiful outcomes, which regularly surpass his patients' expectations of what is possible.
Another large focus of his practice is Cad-Cam Dentistry, a system which utilizes computerized imaging and fabrication procedures. Multiple crowns, inlays and onlays are made and delivered in a single visit…tooth colored, leaving all viable enamel intact, and no pesky temporaries or return visits!
Dr. Nelson's outside interests focus primarily on maximizing interaction with his kids and grandchildren. He loves his annual trek, kids in tow, back to Alabama to join family at their beach house facing the Gulf of Mexico. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, flying, airplane building, dinners with friends, and wine-making. He will talk at length about any of these with very little encouragement.
